William Walton Roberts, MD

William "Walt" Roberts, MD, is a general pediatrician and adult internal medicine physician practicing at Prisma Health. He provides care for patients of all ages, from newborn infants to adults. Originally from Georgia, Dr. Roberts attended Clemson University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts before completing his medical school training in Savannah, Georgia, at Mercer University School of Medicine. He then moved back to the Greenville area to finish his training at Prisma Health's combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program. Dr. Roberts' practice focuses on building lasting partnerships with patients and families over the course of their life. He has an interest in the care and prevention of chronic medical conditions like diabetes and heart disease in both adults and children, and he is passionate about adolescent medicine, LGBTQ+ care, and has a clinical interest in the treatment of HIV in the outpatient setting. He lives in the Greenville area with his wife, three children, and two dogs. He is an avid runner and enjoys hiking and exploring the Appalachians when he and his family can get away.
