Elizabeth Chea, MD, grew up on Hilton Head Island and graduated from Clemson University in biochemistry in 1992. After graduating from medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina, she completed her residency at Indiana University’s Riley Children’s Hospital. She practiced in Greenville for 15 years and was chair of the Department of Pediatrics at another hospital system before joining Prisma Health and The Children’s Clinic in 2018. Dr. Chea enjoys all facets of pediatrics but especially loves guiding families during the formative years of infancy through early childhood. She loves discussing nutrition and healthy lifestyles as well as parenting twins and multiples (since she is a mom of twins). When not at work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and their three sons. She loves to spend time outdoors and cheer on her sons at their sporting events. Dr. Chea also enjoys running and has completed 2 marathons. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
