Brian Rundall, DO, joined Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in November 2021. During his first 10 years of practice, Dr. Rundall performed cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery and placed TAVR valves. Wanting to devote more time to treating complex thoracic diseases, he completed an Advanced Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in New York. He is part of a Thoracic surgical practice consisting of four surgeons, a nurse practitioner, and a multidisciplinary team of pulmonologists, interventional radiologists, and medical and radiation oncologists. He completed fellowships in lung cancer research at the University of Virginia (2005), cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Minnesota (2010), advanced thoracic surgery at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (2021), and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery (2009, 2019), and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (2011, 2021). Dr. Rundall enjoys spending time with his family, serving in his church, and likes skiing, climbing and working on his old Land Cruiser.
