Michael Sridhar, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon. Born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, where he witnessed its 2001 National Championship in football at the Rose Bowl. He attended medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville, completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta, and completed his fellowship at Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital & Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Sridhar chose to practice at Prisma Health because of his passion for academics and resident education, and for the beauty of Greenville. He is an expert in advanced fracture care throughout the upper and lower extremities. He has a particular interest in pelvic and acetabular fractures, periarticular fractures, the systemic and local physiology of traumatic injuries, soft-tissue coverage of open injuries, remedies for musculoskeletal infection and fracture nonunion/malunions, fracture-related and complex hip reconstruction, and bone health.
